We’re confident that you’ll love your new home, so much so that we extend every new resident our money-back guarantee. If you decide within six months that retirement living isn’t for you, you’ll be refunded in full.

Even before you move, you’ll know what you pay and when, as well as how much is returned and when. With no capital loss, property market fluctuations, marketing or sales costs, you’ll feel confident of your financial footing, always.
6 month payout, guaranteed
When leaving your community, the last thing you want is financial worry for you or your estate. We assure you that your entry payment and any additional contributions are returned within six months of leaving.

Freedom offers two payment options to match the individual needs of our customers, with key differences in when and how you pay your management fee.

Discounted upfront management fee option
Ideal for those that like to plan ahead, this gives you access to a discounted management fee rate when you choose to settle this payment upfront. Start your retirement journey with complete peace of mind that you won't have to pay a deferred management fee when you leave.

Deferred management fee option
For those that want to enjoy life to the fullest now, this affords you the benefit of deferring your management fee until you leave your community. Leave additional funds in the kitty to enjoy life throughout your retirement journey.

How it works
Moving In
Under your Freedom contract, you'll make a one time entry payment upon moving in. Enjoy life to the fullest now knowing your management fee will be settled after you leave your home.
Living In
You'll pay a monthly service fee to contribute to the upkeep of facilities, activities and community staff, and a Care & Lifestyle Membership fee giving you access to a broad range of support services, which are then paid for on a fee for service basis.
Leaving
When it's time to leave your community we assist with a smooth transition. Under your Freedom contract you will receive the return of your entry payment less your accrued management fee within six months.

Even before you move, you’ll know exactly what you pay and when, as well as how much is returned and when.
No stamp duty
Unlike residential property, you won’t pay any stamp duty, and you won’t be exposed to capital loss or property market fluctuations.
No sales or marketing costs
We also accept full responsibility for any marketing or sales costs if you decide to sell your Freedom home.
Service fees stop
Service fees will cease one month after you give vacant possession of your home.

Please refer to the contract, disclosure documents and any personal services agreement tor the full terms and conditions, including services currently available and the costs and fees payable. You will have to pay a departure fee when you leave the village. Aveo may ask you questions about your health and independence to determine whether your preferred community and home is suitable for you to move into and live in.
