International Nurses Day – Barbara at The Clayfield

Today is International Nurses Day, and we’d like to take a moment to recognise one of our nurses at The Clayfield.

Barbara has worked as a nurse for over 40 years. She has been working at The Clayfield now for almost three years, providing residents with the care and support they need to keep enjoying their retirement.

In this video which was filmed last year, Barbara shares her experiences of working at The Clayfield and the importance of relationships built on trust.

"It's been really lovely to move to the retirement village, build those relationships and get to know the residents."

Across Australia, we have wonderful nurses just like Barbara working in our communities, our aged care facilities, and supporting our residents and staff through our COVID-19 hotline.
