The Opportunity
Aveo has an opportunity for Registered Nurses or Enrolled Nurses to join our retirement villages across the southern and eastern suburbs of Brisbane. Our Nurses thrive in an environment where resident choice comes first. You'll enjoy building strong connections with independent living residents, liaising with fellow staff and resident family members, responding to emergencies and working with a dedicated team to help ensure clinical outcomes are exceeded. We have casual opportunities for Enrolled or Registered Nurses to join our team and work across the following locations:

• Rochedale Gardens Retirement Living, located in Rochedale South (primary location)
• Cleveland Gardens Retirement Living, located in Ormiston 
• Redlands by the Bya Retirement Resort, located in Redland Bay

Night shift availability is preferred, please let us know the days and times you can work when you apply.

• $42.81/hr (EN) or $55.26/hr (RN) including 25% casual loading + award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation

You will

• Lead, supervise and educate a team of Personal Care Attendants and ensure the delivery of person-centred care at the highest possible standard
• Ensuring all residents receive the clinical care services in line with their care plans and be accountable for all medication management
• Maintain effective inter-personal relationships with residents, family members and fellow staff
• Liaise effectively with external service providers who provide care within the community
• Respond to first-aid emergencies 

What you will bring

• Current AHPRA registration and CPR certificate (required)
• Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you)
• Two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
• Minimum one (1) year experience as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Trustworthy, reliable and enjoy working in a team environment 
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise
