The Opportunity
Nestled within 42 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens in the leafy suburb of Ashmore, The Domain Country Club is a resort-style community that is home to 370+ independent living units and apartments. As a highly independent Cook, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment to prepare high-quality lunch and dinner meals for our residents. Following the set menus in place, you'll be hands-on with kitchen preparation and enjoy supporting residents' well-being. If you have kitchen hand experience and thrive off working independently or in a small team, join us!
This is a permanent part-time position working every Friday, Saturday & Sunday 10-6pm. Earn great weekend penalty rates!
Please note - interviews will be commencing early Jan 2025.
What we offer
- $28.15/hr + superannuation + award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances. Earn 1.75x penalty rates on the Sunday shift!

You will
- Assist in the daily kitchen preparation of lunch and dinner meals following set menus
- Follow OH&S procedures and follow kitchen cleaning procedures
- Ensuring daily quality meal service to residents and visitors of the surrounding Aveo Community
- Daily monitoring of food safety plans and following all Food Services procedures
What you'll bring
- Knowledge and/or experience in catering/kitchen/hospitality settings (e.g experience in food preparation or Cook roles)
- Food Safety Certificate OR Certificate III in Commerical Cookery (desirable)
- Two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
- A friendly and warm persona with a passion for food and chatting with residents!
- Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you!)
