The Opportunity

Forest Grove Retirement Living, located in Durack, is the largest retirement living village in Queensland with close to 700 residents! We are looking to expand our team by adding a Housekeeper/Cleaner to assist with maintaining the cleanliness of resident apartments and ensuring the common areas of the village are maintained. You will work closely with our friendly team and residents to support our residents with housekeeping, laundry and general domestic cleaning duties. 

We have three part-time positions available (let us know which you prefer when you apply!)
  • Monday-Wednesday 8.30am-12.30pm
  • Monday-Thursday 8.30am-12.30pm
  • Monday-Thursday 6am-12.30pm (must be able to commence at 6am).

You will

  • Deliver high-quality cleaning services within resident's apartments, units and common areas including floors, bathrooms, kitchens and general housekeeping
  • Deliver thorough service to residents and fellow staff members by attending to resident requests and community emergencies 
  • Enjoy building relationships and being a friendly face to residents 
  • Provide assistance to the residents and community with general ad-hoc tasks 

What you will bring

  • Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping or laundry service roles (highly desired)
  • Current Police Check clearance (required, but we can complete for you!)
  • Two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
