The Opportunity

Rochedale Gardens Retirement Living is a large retirement living community located in Rochedale South and we're expanding our Nursing team! In this role, you will thrive in an environment where resident choice comes first. Your ability to build a strong rapport with families and work closely with a dedicated team will help ensure clinical and interpersonal outcomes are exceeded. Your experience will be valued and you will play a key role in supporting the team around you to ensure quality outcomes for all residents in your care.

This is a casual position to assist our team with taking extra shifts or covering leave. Our Registered Nurse team members work either morning or afternoon shifts across seven days a week - no night shifts.

You will

  • Lead, supervise and educate a clinical team and ensure the delivery of person-centred care at the highest possible standard
  • Ensuring all residents receive general and support services in line with resident contracts and care plans and be accountable for all medication management
  • Maintain effective inter-personal relationships with residents and wider stakeholders 
  • Liaise effectively with external service providers who provide care within the community

What you will bring

  • Current AHPRA Division 1 registration and CPR certificate (required)
  • Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you)
  • Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up to date (required)
  • Experience in Community Care or Retirement Living (desired)
  • Trustworthy, reliable & enjoy working in a team environment 
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise
